The Mario series is my favorite of all time and I'm currently playing Dragon Quest and some PC puzzle games. This year, I am celebrating 20 amazing years with SEGA! I enjoy creating games as well as playing games. I had always wanted a career in entertainment so entering into the video games industry was the natural progression since it allowed me the chance to have a creative outlet, and of course I like playing video games, so it all worked out.

At the time, it was really tough to enter that field, so I joined a games company instead. Toshihiro Nagoshi, creator of Super Monkey Ball Hi Everyone, I'm Toshihiro Nagoshi, creator of the Super Monkey Ball franchise and the loveable characters, AiAi, MeMe, BeBe and GonGon, that you all know so well! Today I'm going to give you some background information as you may or may not know about me, and also give you some insight into the creation of the games and my role throughout the history of this franchise! I majored in Film Studies while I was in college and wanted to work in the film industry. On top of all this there are also Mirror Mode (which reverses the main game mazes) and Marathon Modes. Ten of these were seen previously in Banana Blitz but there are 11 new mini-games to check out for a total of 21. Then there are the ever-popular Monkey Ball mini-games featuring a variety of wacky challenges. If you're playing solo, these obstacles won't appear. One person works the balls while the other blasts obstacles out of the way with the Wii remote. The main game can be played cooperatively with a partner. New monkey Jam will be your guide to Step & Roll. Of course, you can also play with just the Wii remote and nunchuk if you don't have a balance board. If you've played Kororinpa or its sequel Marble Saga you shouldn't have too much trouble. We tried a few levels and it's definitely challenging but it works. When using the balance board you won't need the Wii remote at all, you simply lean in the direction you want to roll. The Monkey Ball series has always been about rolling a ball containing a monkey around increasingly complex environments, but now you can control the capsule with your feet.

Step & Roll will include seven game worlds to roll through, five of which we got a look at during our demonstration: Monkey Island (not sure if Guybrush Threepwood will have a cameo), Excavation Site, Chimpan Sea (get it?), Far East, and Polar Festival.
